The fifth hole is a par 5 and at 448m is one of the longest holes on the golf course for both men and women. The tee shot is challenging with out of bounds on the right and a severe up hill slope approximately 200m from the tee. Getting your ball at least half way up the slope especially during winter requires a solid hit.

The second shot is normally an uphill shot for most golfers. At the top of the hill the fairway slopes downhill until you get to the newly sculptured flood swail. Clearing this swail reqiures two very good hits, especially in the winter months.

The scrape is a smallish scrape compared to many and has a varying slope which means the break can vary depending on your ball position. The size and dome shape make this scrape a very difficult scrape to hit.
