The sixteenth is not only the shortest hole on course but also the signature hole. At 79m the hole seems simple on paper but it needs to be respected as there have been some big numbers recorded on this hole over the years.

The tee shot has to carry the creek, which doesn’t normally bother many golfers unless it gets in their heads at which time more balls seem to go down than stay up. Care has to be taken to avoid the out of bounds at the back and to the right where the caravan park is situated.

The scrape is not overly tricky with a slight slope from back to front.
